If you are planning on getting tickets, it might be a good idea to have your Battle.net account made now so you won't have any delays in your attempts to get tickets. **Source**

You can create a Battle.net Account without attaching it to a WoW Account.

If anyone was able to get tickets please let me know - I tried this morning - while it was handled much better this year I still didn't get any. I was spamming the refresh button prior to them going on sale they did open the store before 10am i think it was 9:58 actually that it went live and i was 6200+ in que and they sold out at 10:28 and I was #3200 in que at that point.

I think my plans to just go and buy someones ticket at the door. I'm sure people will be selling em for a stupidly inflated price.

Wowhead's running a contest (among a bunch of the other fansites). Or if you know some employees of Blizz they typically get a few to do things with.
