looks like its try to get behind him. are player controlled pets coded to go behind the target? if anything id probably post in the bug forums with a link to that spot in the vid just incase it hinders pets.

yeah whip, a while ago they coded pets to try to get behind foes. The behavior creates some strange "dancing" at times.

They still somewhat try to get behind Kologarn, but they won't forsake attacking in favor of trying to get there any longer. Not since that change.

I know I watched mine do it, but he was still attacking while continually jumping off the cliff...
